Happy Imam Ali's Birthday

The only child in Mecca born
brightful just like the morn,
Ali is the glory of the earth
since the beginning of his birth.
He was adorned as a kid,
Prophet's follower in all he did.
The beauty of the earth and sky
God Himself did him glorify.
Even after all these years
he's still novel and dear
May all know him as the Sun
with him creation was done.

Professor Frye

It's well spoken
by a man of eighty seven
there's an unbrekable link
if one would think
between all nations
by showing some affection.

He's professor Frye
who wished to die
in a city called Isfahan
in Asian country Iran.
He's American and believes
love is above all needs.

His letter was sent
directly to Iranian President
asking for his permission
to finish his mission
by being buried there
and joining his teacher.

A Short Story

Father : I want you to marry a girl of my choice.
Son: "I will choose my own bride!"
Father: "But the girl is Bill Gates's daughter."
Son: "Well, in that case...ok"

Next, father approaches Bill Gates.
"I have a husband for your daughter."
"But my daughter is too young to marry!"
"But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank."
"Ah, in that case...ok"

Finally father goes to see the president of the World Bank.
"I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president."
"But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!"
"But this young man is Bill Gates's son-in-law."
"Ah, in that case...ok"

Moral: Even If you have nothing, you can get anything. All you need is a positive attitude.

Why English is so Difficult?

Ok, this time I chose a cute write which I read it some time ago and found it interesting to post. The author of these lines is unknown. It's a pitty, for he/she has a very good sense of humor.

We'll begin with a box, and the plural is boxes;
but the plural of ox became oxen not oxes.

One fowl is a goose, but two are called geese,
yet the plural of moose should never be meese.

You may find a lone mouse or a nest full of mice;
yet the plural of house is houses, not hice.

If the plural of man is always called men,
why shouldn't the plural of pan be called pen ?

If I spoke of my foot and show you my feet,
and I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet?

If one is a tooth and a whole set are teeth,
Why shouldn't the plural of booth be called beeth?

Then one may be that, and three would be those,
yet hat in the plural would never be hose,

and the plural of cat is cats, not cose.

We speak of a brother and also of brethren,
but though we say mother we never say methren.

Then the masculine pronouns are he, his and him,
but imagine the feminine, she, shis and shim
.

Now, what do you think?*wink*

Lunch With God

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey.
When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat There all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.
As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.
When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?"
He replied, " I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?" She replied! "I ate potato chips in the park with God."
However, before her son responded, she added, " You know, he's much younger than I expected."
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of Which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally.

The secret of flight

One day a hole appeared in a cocoon. A man sitting there watched the butterfly’s struggle for getting out of that small hole for hours. Sympathizing with her, he decided to help her out of that situation. With his help, she could get out of her cocoon easily, but she was weak and her wings were shrunk. He kept watching her, for he expected her to open her wings and fly soon. But nothing happened! The poor butterfly had to creep for the rest of her life and could never fly! That kind man didn’t know that a kind of liquid was secreting from her body into her wings while she was trying to get out of that cocoon hardly and that liquid could help her to fly after that much struggle.

The point is that sometimes we just don’t need some effort in our lives. If God allows us to live easily- without any problem- we won’t be strong enough to fly one day.

Happy Mother’s Day

Written on the sky’s chest
with the golden pen:
"Mother’s the best;
Happy Mother’s Day then."

We all can remember
in this shining day
to praise the glory of mother
who always for us does pray.

Happy is the day when heaven sings
Mother’s love's second to none.
Lots of joy for us she brings,
in everything she’s number one.

She’s God’s angel on the earth
with lots of love in her heart.
The one who gave us birth
and painted our life with her art.
